Possible reasons for Jeevan pramaan enrolment failures


The following possible reasons for authentication failures in enrollment of pensioners under Jeevan pramaan (DLC) were identified and some solutions are suggested as detailed below.

Possible reasons for Jeevan pramaan enrolment failures.

Reason : Dots between the initials and name of the pensioners
Solution : leave spaces between initials instead of dots.
Reason : Wrong entry method of PPO number like 23229/lps
Solution : Enter PPO number as 23229/LPS
Reason : Incorrect selection of Sanction authority from the drop down menu.
Solution: Select as follows
Postal – For postal service and family pensioners
Telecom-For Telecom service and family pensioners for both CDA and IDA rate pensioners
Railway-For Railway service and family pensioners



In cases of authentication failures

Check whether the entered 
i. aadhaar number is correct
ii. PPO number is correct
iii. Sanction authority is correct
iv. Bank account number is correct
v. Re-scan finger of the pensioner by little more pressing of finger(s) in the scanner.
vi. If the fingers of the pensioners shake, tightly hold the pensioners finger and put in the scanners
A consolidated list authentication failures even after fulfilment of the above conditions may be sent to this office for further action.
